My Story

Hi, I’m Tinaya Boyd, founder of Niya Beauty Box. 💕

Entrepreneurship has always been a part of me. Growing up, I watched my mom create opportunities through her own businesses, which showed me early that I could build something of my own too.

At just 13 years old, I started Niya Fashion, selling clothes and building my own customer base. At 16, my brother gave me $1,000 and told me to flip it. I invested it into learning lashes, started practicing at a table inside my mom’s carryout, and eventually turned that beginning into Niya Beauty Box.

Within my first year of lashing, I became fully booked. From the beginning, quality and retention were always my biggest priorities. I wanted my clients to leave with beautiful sets, but more importantly, I wanted them to come back weeks later with lashes that still looked GOOD.

That same mindset is what led me into products. For nearly three years, I’ve tested different lash products, searching for the quality, consistency, and performance I would confidently use behind my own lash chair — because if I wouldn’t use it on my clients, I wouldn’t sell it to you.

By 17, I had built a six-figure business through lashing and selling products. What started at a table inside my mom’s carryout had grown into something I never wanted to keep to myself.

Now, I want to help other lash artists learn how to build for themselves too.

Through NBB products, lash classes, education, and my upcoming business e-book, I’m sharing the products, knowledge, and lessons that helped me turn a skill into a real business.

Niya Beauty Box was built by a lash artist, for lash artists. Whether you’re shopping NBB, sitting in one of my classes, or learning from my journey, my goal is to help you create beautiful work AND build something bigger from it.

I did it young. I learned along the way. Now I’m ready to show you what I know. 💕
